We provide general family dental care in a comfortable homey environment, yet we use high tech aids and state-of-the-art dental materials. We treat you with respect and dignity. Total honesty and thorough explanations. Our philosophy is one of conservative dentistry to preserve natural teeth.
Dental Services
All examinations and dental treatments are performed by Dr. Mike himself. As a small staff office, we do not employ a hygienist. Any dental issues that may be found will be addressed and treatment planned with minimal additional diagnostic visits.
Preventative
As a small staff office, we do not employ a hygienist. You can be assured that all examinations, cleanings, x-rays and fluoride treatments are performed by Dr. Mike himself. This way, any dental issues can be found and addressed/treatment planned without need for any additional diagnostic visits.
Restorative and Cosmetic
We use the best materials to address your individual tooth decay or fracture in order to achieve the most optimum outcome. Amalgam, tooth colored composites and crowns may be discussed and used as appropriate.
Pediatric
We take pride in our rapport with our youngest patients. A good early experience at the dental office will lead to a lifetime of good oral health habits.
We gladly accept patients as young as 2 years old. By the age of 3, all children should be seen by a dentist. Dr. Mike has a calming and reassuring manner with his youngest patients. And of course, there is the prize basket at the end of the visit!
Periodontal
We will evaluate, monitor and treat any periodontal, or gum disease, issues. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss, and gingival inflammation has been linked to heart disease, as well as other systemic diseases. Keeping your gums healthy is an investment in keeping your entire body healthy.
Crowns, Bridges, & Implants
Crowns will be necessary following root canal therapy. Some cracked teeth, or teeth with large restorations may also be good candidates for crowns.
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. Cemented into place, they become a permanent part of one’s mouth, unlike partial dentures which are removable. Bridges offer a beautiful and strong solution to missing teeth.
Oral Surgery
In certain situations it becomes necessary to extract a tooth. Dr. Mike is skilled in performing many extractions and in keeping the patient calm and comfortable.
Preventative and Diagnostics
For preventative dentistry, we provide examinations, oral cancer screening, x-rays, cleaning, and flouride treatment.
